MERCEDES | RENOVATION + FURNISHINGS
Dallas, Texas
When our clients relocated from California to Dallas, they landed in a beautiful home in the M Streets with clean architecture and great bones, but it needed warmth, identity, and a stronger point of view. They came in with little to no furniture, so we were truly starting from scratch. Through furnishings, paint, lighting, and strategic built-ins, we gave the home a Modern Cowboy aesthetic that feels elevated, artistic, and unmistakably theirs.
The key here was restraint. It’s very easy to tip the scales from “modern cowboy” to “hee haw,” so we were deliberate in what we brought in. We layered in natural textures, sculptural furnishings, custom millwork, one very cheeky wallpaper, and a curated mix of western art, landscapes, textiles, and photography.
While the overall layout stayed intact, the transformation was significant. The result is a home that feels layered, soulful, and fully at ease in Texas—comfortable for family life, polished enough for entertaining, and rich with personality at every turn.
