Team TLD is growing! We are looking to hire an experienced Interior Designer local to the Dallas TX area to work with us 20-30 hours per week. This is a primarily work from home position with a weekly Team get-together and meetings with clients.

Our designers are proactive, self-starters, positive, and creative. Communication skills are a must as you’ll be working directly with clients from beginning to end, serving as the main point of contact on multiple projects. We’re looking for someone who is great with details and knows how to pull together a set of construction documents, coordinate with vendors, and collaborate with our Contractor and Architect partners.

Strong Sketch Up skills are a must, and a background in AutoCAD and/or Revit is helpful. We also work with various other software systems for design and project management, so the ability to dig in, get scrappy, and learn new things needs to be in your wheelhouse! We are always innovating and growing in our business, so all of our team members to be adaptable and open to new opportunities.

What we’d love to see:

  • Project Interior Designer with 3+ professional experience in Interior Design (licensure is preferred but not required)

  • Local to Dallas TX area, serving clients in Dallas, Richardson, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Carrolton, etc.

  • Primarily work from home + client meetings + weekly team get together

  • 20-30 hours per week

  • Our designers have strong leadership skills, are self-motivated, and proactive. A positive attitude and ability to work well with others and take direction is key. We are looking for someone who can take an idea, run with it, and make it their own.

  • Client communication and Project Management skills are critical. Each team member at TLD is managing multiple projects at a time. We work efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment and expect a high level of work from everyone on our Team.

  • This position requires working on multiple projects from start to finish – from meeting with clients and casting the vision, operating as their day to day contact, and managing projects through selection, construction, and installation. We are looking for someone to primarily support our Residential clients, but may also assist in boutique commercial and multi-family projects.

  • And of course, creativity and an eye for design is a given! At TLD you will be selecting materials and furnishings, designing details, and ensuring that each project is unique and tailored to each individual client. We would love to see a portfolio of your work and the creative solutions you have provided to past clients.

  • Strong Sketch Up skills are required, along with the knowledge on how to build out a set of Construction Documents. A background in AutoCad or Revit is helpful. We use many software applications for creation, team collaboration, and management of our projects, so the ability to learn new programs quickly is critical.
